Abstract:
The nutritional quality is an important index to evaluate the commodity value of soybean. This experiment investigated the effects of chemical and organic fertilizers application on the nutritional quality of soybean in Mollisols farmland.Four fertilizer treatments were conducted as follows:no fertilizer(NoF), chemical fertilizer(CF), chemical fertilizer plus 15 t·hm
-2 cattle manure(CF+15T), and chemical fertilizer plus 30 t·hm
-2 cattle manure(CF+30T).Oil, protein, free amino acids, soluble sugar and sucrose contents in soybean Dongsheng 1 were determined. The results showed that protein content, protein plus fat content as well as sucrose content had no significant responses to fertilizer treatments, while the fat content with CF+15T was 205 mg·g
-1, 6.51% higher than that of NoF.The free amino acid content with CF+30T was 5.32 mg·g
-1, which was 16.6%, 14.0% and 9.85% higher than that of NoF, CF and CF+15T, respectively. The soluble sugar content with CF, CF+15T and CF+30T treatment was 6.26%, 7.55% and 6.90% higher than that of NoF, respectively. The improvement of cattle manure on nutrition quality may be attributed to that, cattle manure increased soil nutrient availability, mediated carbon and nitrogen metabolism in crop, thus improved the nutritional quality of soybean.
